TNT Builds is not a real company...it's the front for any and all projects we do together as a couple. Whether it's building fences and laying sod, flipping houses, or managing our rental properties Taylor and Taylor (get it?) can do just about anything.
Nick and I met when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore at the Air Force Academy...I wanted to marry him the moment I met him (in fact, I told my mother I would do just that), but he took a little bit longer to come around (a fact he attributes to my 1.5 inch basic cadet buzz cut). We've been together since 2001 (but if anyone asks we didn't start dating until it wasn't fraternization anymore) and married since 2005.
We are lucky enough to share our lives with three persnickety cats who, like most cats, make us laugh on a daily basis with their ridiculous demands.
Tiger is our "first-born" from Colorado. A newspaper ad was advertising him as a stray barn cat with "orange stripes and white mittens". I immediately fell in love. He is by far our shyest cat who prefers to demand attention in the middle of the night when you are most certainly sleeping.
Sasha was picked up by the
Humane Society after someone found her in the dumpster. Our only girl cat she continually reminds us that she is the queen of our house. If you are sitting down she is most likely draping herself across you, purring away wildly, while drooling uncontrollably.
Pip was rescued under the porch of one of our tenant's houses. A wild kitten covered in scabs, his bones jutting out, we named him after the fictional orphan Philip Pirrip from Charles Dickens'
Great Expectations. He quickly blossomed into "Pip the Tubby Tabby" who is almost always up to no good.
Everyone keeps telling us that building a house together is the true test of a marriage...well alright then, bring it on!
